Considered one of the greatest motorsport photographers in history, Jesse Alexander has captured impressive images since the 1950s. His professional career started at the original Mexican Road Race, and he went on to photograph the Formula One Races in Europe. Today, his photographs are found in private collections around the world as well as in museum exhibitions.
Mario Algaze is an award-winning contemporary photographer who was exiled from Cuba when he was thirteen. He settled in Miami, and while studying visual art at Miami Dade College, he began traveling to Latin America which gave him the feeling of home. Mario’s images highlight both the struggles and victories of Latin culture and some of his photographs are found in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Santa Barbara Museum.
Patty Carroll is an American photographer who has taught and practiced photography since the 1970s. She received a Master of Science in Photography and has held teaching positions at universities worldwide. Patty’s photography is described as vivid and boldly colored, and her most recent work symbolically expresses the domestic roles of women.
Renowned for the photographs he captured of the rodeo, John Stryker traveled across the United States where developed new ways of photographing the action during an event. Some historians believe that John was responsible for the growth of the sport, and his negatives are in the collection of the University of Texas Permian Basin.
