Our luxury apartments in Dallas put you close to exciting entertainment options no matter what you’re in the mood for. From arts museums to escape rooms, here are some of our favorite destinations in Dallas close to our community:
CROW MUSEUM OF ASIAN ART
Bringing international culture to Texas, the Crow Museum of Asian Art is a collection the Crow family began years ago. They adore acquiring artwork in various forms, across many eras, and from several Asian countries. They want everyone to enjoy it, just as much as they have. The Crow family donated their collection to UT Dallas, along with a very sizable donation for the upkeep and preservation of the art. There are sculptures, paintings, ceramics, artifacts, and armor to view. The museum is located at the university, less than five miles from The Lofts at Mockingbird Station.
A 20-minute drive from Mockingbird Station will take you to Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. Knights, princesses, kings, and queens are waiting for you to drop your sense of disbelief and allow them to escort you into their world. You can watch beautiful horses run with sword fighting and jousting knights, fighting with real weapons for their queen. A four-course dinner with vegetarian choices is available for the meal during the two-hour dinner and show. Medieval Times has been around for a long time, and their most recent interactive shows are even better and enjoyed by people of all ages.
ESCAPE ROOM ADVENTURES
Around 15 minutes from our community, you’ll find Escape Room Adventures. When you arrive, you choose your adventure. All stories are about robbing a bank, but there are various environments for you to choose between: a Wild West robbery, an alien robbery, and a superhero heist. You solve brain teasers and puzzles to advance toward the prize, to escape from the room. You better bring your A-game if you want to keep up with the surprising plot twists.
Live closer to these destinations when you choose The Lofts at Mockingbird Station. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are interested in a tour of our community or if you have a question about our local amenities. We look forward to hearing from you.Back to all posts
