Whether you are a vegan looking for more restaurant options, or you are someone who wants to add more plant-based food into your diet, you will be happy to hear that Dallas is actually full of great vegan options. For a place that isn’t exactly known for plant-based food, there is a lot more vegan food near our apartments in Dallas than you may have realized. Here are three great restaurants with vegan options that are open for pick up or delivery near The Lofts at Mockingbird Station:
This smoothie bowl place is so close to your apartment that your order might not even be ready by the time you’ve walked there to pick it up. Rush Bowls is your Mockingbird Station neighbor. Rush Bowls doesn’t have an entirely vegan menu, but they offer so many great vegan options. They offer soy, coconut, almond, and oat milk for any bowl or smoothie. They also have soy protein for an extra boost of nutrition. Experiment with different flavor combinations and toppings to perfect your new favorite smoothie bowl.
V-Eats doesn’t compromise when it comes to delicious plant-based food. They believe vegan food should be mouth-watering and exciting. Listen to these options: panko-fried avocado wedges with dip, made-to-order guacamole and chips, and crispy shiitake mushrooms with BBQ dip. And don’t forget about the impossible burger with vegan cheese on a potato roll. If you are hungry enough, you could probably try everything on the entirely vegan menu in one sitting. V-Eats is open for take-out or delivery.
Spiral Diner and Bakery
Spiral Diner and Bakery is a Texan small business success story. A 21-year-old woman opened the first Spiral Diner in 2002 with the goal of bringing vegan comfort food options to Texas. At first glance, this restaurant doesn’t look entirely vegan, but it actually is. Their Philly Cheesesteak is made from grilled seitan and vegan cheese, while their Texas Hot Chicken is made from vegan chick’n. Nothing says comfort food better than Chick’n Pot Pie Stew and a freshly baked biscuit. You can support Spiral Dinner by ordering curbside pickup, takeout, or delivery.
So, here’s a great Friday night idea: order vegan food and host a virtual game night with your friends. If you want to learn more about our Dallas apartments, please contact us. We will happily give you a tour and answer any of your questions.Back to all posts
