Where You Can Find The Best Popsicles in Dallas

For many Americans, popsicles are a reminder of the summer days when they were young playing catch, riding bikes, and cooling off with this sweet treat.

If you would like to enjoy a popsicle, head to one of the following shops where you’ll find many gourmet varieties:

Twisted Treats

Nestled in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Twisted Treats offers a unique twist on some of the most popular desserts. The shop opened last spring, and its vibrant atmosphere features exposed brick, neon lighting, and colorful works of art. Twisted Treats is a fun place to meet friends, and guests state that the giant panda head on the wall makes for a great photo opportunity. Popsicles include strawberry cream, toasted marshmallow, and watermelon (a customer favorite).

Steel City Pops

At Steel City Pops, the line is often out the door. When the Watkins family took a family vacation to Nashville in 2002, they stumbled across a unique shop selling popsicles. They were unlike anything they had ever tasted. Nine years later, the family decided to create their own innovative recipes using fresh ingredients. Flavors include blood orange, jasmine green tea, and passion fruit.

Steel City Pops also believes in giving back and partners with charities such as NeverThirst. This nonprofit organization makes clean, portable water accessible in both third world and underdeveloped countries.

When Heather’s children were little, she began making purees as a way to expand their fruit and vegetable palate. When she decided to share her passion for healthy food with others, Berrynaked was born. Some of her closest friends are on the team, and all of the treats are created from organic ingredients. Signature popsicles include honey grapefruit, green apple cinnamon, and pear vanilla thyme.
